When wake me up came out in 2013, I was working to save up cash for a study abroad program in the Netherlands. Whenever that song comes on it reminds me of the work I did that summer and my subsequent time in the Netherlands. It saddens me that Avicii is gone but his music lives forever.

And also my mind was not good last month, because of lots of bad things that happened in July, so my mind was exhausted in August. But your song makes me feel better and hope to step forward. i found out ab avicii when i was maybe 6-7 yrs old, and still listening to his music, crying everyday ab his death. He was so magical, like, i can’t even describe it. His music were so ethereal. My dream is visit Stockholm, to see museum dedicated to him. Place where he was born, loved, lived. I just finished a documentary about a famous danish singer/producer in Netflix. It was amazing to see how his group supported him when he decided to cancel the european tour and focus to his family and himself. One of the group said “ yes man, it’s ok, if you’re not happy about it, everything is meaningless. We support your decision”. Coming back to Tim’s documentary “True stories” I wish he had the same support since when he started to feel unhappy with the tours. Still missing him ❤️

My mid-teens and early twenties were full of trouble. I was always disheartened, and feared being misunderstood in my pain the most. "Wake Me Up" was my anthem, followed by "Waiting for Love" when my uphill journey towards healing. Tim's melodies were hummed during the hardest and brightest times, and are still beloved now in my steayd 30's. Thank you Tim, all love to you.

I discovered Avicii upon learning of his death. I was, and still am hooked. I have all of his albums saved as mp3s and zip files on my laptop so he's always with me. We miss you, Tim. Rest easy now.

I first heard your music in 2020, when I was 13, starting with The Nights. Soon I found Without You, Wake Me Up, Levels, and Waiting for Love—songs that became a part of me. Every note, every melody still carries me back to that first moment of wonder. If you were still with us, my heart would be full of joy. Now, there is only silence where you should be, and I miss you more than words can say.

Tim is the best artist and music producer of all time. All his songs is a work of art themselves. I would never have considered myself a traditional EDM fan but Tim’s music is transcendent. His innate understanding of of sound and the connection to the soul shines through in all he has done. I truly don’t think there are many artists who can convey the level of emotion that he could. His passing, and the sadness behind it, leaves a huge hole. His work and its power will live on. I am not certain how to explain exactly. i have been a fan for some time, yet as my daughter as gotten older we have bonded with Tim's music. I am sad to admit much of it Ihad not heard until after his passing. This upsets me, and baffles me. Such an excellent talent and like many, wish he was still here. I have been listening to Avicii’s music since my childhood, and so many unique memories are connected to it. That’s why he will always live on within me. This April, I watched the documentary about Tim on Netflix, it deeply moved me. Less than a week later, a dear friend of mine took his own life. His name was also Tim, and he was a musician too. I hope that somewhere in heaven, they can create music together. May both of you rest in peace

This man has brought me through his music back into me again while I was falling deep. I knew his melodies since I was child because his music was often on radio while we were driving by car. The beats were so memorable to never forget it. I’m so thankful for his music and I’m so sad that he had to die one way or another. Maybe it could have been different if someone had saved him out of his thoughts like he did save me, with his music. Thanks Tim, you will always live through your music.

I grew up with Tim’s music. I was about twelve when he died, but his songs carried me through struggles with mental health. After losing my mother to suicide, I felt an emptiness I can’t describe but Tim’s music gave me something to hold onto. Tim was more than Avicii he was a kind, sensitive soul whose spirit helped so many of us through. I like to think that God needed a DJ, and Tim was the best one we had. Thank you Tim you will always be more than just avicii but a good person in my eyes. <3

I grew up listening to Tim as a young boy and as I turned into a man. Now I’m 22 the only real regret in life I have is not seeing him live. I mourn him all the time, even though I do not know him, his music touched me in a way no one else’s could. When I am depressed, these beats make it feel like life is bursting at the seams.
